Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) #11209
Federal employees can designate IWDC as their charity of choice during the annual CFC campaign. Private sector employees can give to the United Way campaign and designate their gifts to IWDC.
Planned Giving consists of a variety of programs that fulfill your philanthropic goals while benefiting yourself, your family and others. It can be an important part of your estate planning and could reduce potential estate and gift taxes. Using lifetime giving to donate to IWDC is a great way to ensure the future of our work. Please consult your attorney or investment advisor for more advice on naming the International Women's Democracy Center as one of your beneficiaries.
Gifts of Stock / Securities
Gifts of Stocks / Securities may have greater tax benefits than outright gifts of cash. With public charities, a donor may deduct the full market value of the gift when it is made, up to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income. Please consider a donation of stocks/securities to IWDC. Consult your financial advisor for more information.
Designate IWDC as your charity of choice and every time you search on GoodSearch, IWDC receives a donation
Denise Defontaine Tuthill was a long time feminist who strongly believed in equity across all sectors of the economy. Without barriers to culture or geography, she was vocal about equality and human rights at a time when women had little or no status in the United States and in countries around the world. Denise had been a strong supporter of the mission of the International Women's Democracy Center and decided to leave her legacy in the Denise Defontaine Tuthill Activist Fellowship to support young women leaders ages 18-35 engaged in social activism through IWDC programs and projects.
